Leslie Simpson

Leslie has lived in the Pacific Northwest her entire life and has sold real estate full time for the past ten years. In early 2023, Leslie and her husband, Brett, took a risk and uprooted their family in pursuit of a better life in North Idaho. They are happily rebuilding community and exploring all that Kootenai County has to offer. She knows how hard it is to start over in a new place, and genuinely enjoys helping transplants house-hunt and start their new life in this area. Leslie goes “all in” on her people, and helps her clients with loyalty and determination.

 Prior to entering the real estate industry, Leslie started her career in school counseling. After two years in schools she jumped at the opportunity to get her real estate license and sell new construction homes for her family’s home building company, Waverly Homes. Real estate was a perfect fit, and she quickly realized her counseling skills were valuable assets in tough negotiations and de-escalating high emotions.

 With her experience selling new construction, she has a thorough knowledge of the home building process. As her business grew into the existing home market, Leslie built a team and helped launch other real estate agents. With her move to North Idaho, she is back in the role of a solo agent, working with Buyers and Sellers, and thriving.

Leslie and her husband, Brett, have been married for 13 years and have four children. They are lucky enough to fill their days with work they love, happy and healthy children, and endless home projects. Their family loves to hike, ski, hang out on the lake, and travel. In her spare time, you will find Leslie with her dog Roxy, tending her growing flock of chickens, trying her hand at gardening, or attempting a sewing project. The most unexpected place you will see her is moonlighting as a substitute High Fitness instructor.
